Origin
A weaving workshop of six people. It works to the loom width it has rather than to a standard, so a drapery order is quoted by the roll and the width is what it is.
In the workshop
Woven on shuttle looms, washed and dried outdoors, and finished without sizing so the cloth keeps moving after it is hung.
