Solid timber furniture, joined rather than fixed.
Origin
A cabinet shop working in hinoki and Japanese oak. It builds to order and will not veneer, which limits what it can make and is the reason its pieces are the weight they are.
In the workshop
Stock is air-dried for two years before it is cut. Carcases are through-tenoned and wedged; drawers are hand-fitted.
